Two months ago the sense of smell started to come back but in a very bad way. Smell of coffee is the worst and as a coffee lover that is awful! Anything with onions and root vegetables is awful. Cant pass a Pasty shop without feeling sick with the smell coming out of the door. I've finally found my answers and I'm so thankful for you. Back in June I had the worst cold(or sinus infection.. maybe) of my life. I couldn't spell or taste for an entire month. It slowly came back, and was fine for the most part except for coffee and cigarette smoke smelled "off&Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14970102174518060881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-193469295022598914.post-64583888387360956122017-02-04T20:19:51.583+00:002017-02-04T20:19:51.583+00:00Bless you for posting this. Coffee, onions, garlic smell revolting. Poop smells weird and altered. I can't smell garbage, armpits, and natural gas (with scares me). I am constantly worried I smell. ALL of the TIME! I sometimes think I smell something normal, I get excited,Costumes_Couture_by_Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04145452307408562793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-193469295022598914.post-33059859267195598382016-11-26T00:43:52.932+00:002016-11-26T00:43:52.932+00:00At five weeks in, I am just getting started. I have no clue what beer tastes like (now). It sounds to me (a recent enthusiast of books on neurology) that you're making use of your neuroplasticity to rewire your brain in terms of creating new networks of associations for smells and your language for them. I'm someone who has never had a sensitive sense of smell ("ooh, this is a familiar flavour, what is it?
